I attended a lecture last night at UTA by Bill Bradley, former US Senator from New Jersey. It was inspiring. He talked about changes that America can make in areas that affect us all: education, healthcare, election reform, ... It was policy-oriented, and not partisan. He said that we need both collective action (Democrat view) and individual action (Republican view) to solve our problems.
He has a new book, "The New American Story," which I think is worth looking at. I'm going to read it.
